Storyboarding Project Continued

This week the students will be continuing to work on their Storyboarding Project.

First though we will start learning the process of screen writing and character development with Aaron Sorkin.  These notes will be part of their AVID packet this week!

Below are two Storyboarding Tutorials we will be taking notes on in class.









The students also need to help populate our Sound Effect Catalog by following the directions below!

Article Review and Play Posit

Today the students will be joining Play Posit and then working through a NEWS ELA article together.

Story Board Project - Creating a Jump Scare

Today the students will be learning how to use the presentation software Storyboard That.  They will be using Storyboard That in conjuction with Windows Movie Maker and Audacity to create a Jump Scare cut.

Today the students have 3 independent tasks

Task 1:  They will sign into Storyboard That and build a template with the following criterion.

1.  18 total slides
2.  Choose a Main Character Avatar
3.  Choose 1 Outdoor scene background
4.  Choose 1 Indoor Scene Background

Step 2:  Audacity Clip Finder

The students need to create a group Folder of Sound Effects using Freesound.org
